June 25-26, 2021
The Neural Interfaces Conference (NIC) organizing committee invites applications for the 2021 NIC Diversity Attendance Award. This attendance award program aims to enhance the diversity of researchers in neural engineering. The program is open to undergraduate students, predoctoral graduate students, and postdoctoral trainees from groups that are underrepresented in the engineering population. Underrepresented groups include, but are not limited to: women, persons with disabilities, and racial / ethnic groups that are in the minority in engineering, such as African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and Pacific Islanders. We also welcome applications from students who attend institutions which are historically under-represented in the neural interface community or who face financial hardship in attending the meeting.
