2023 NANS Annual Meeting Credit Claim Information

Deadline

You have until Monday, May 1 to complete the meeting evaluation and claim credits.

ACCME Accreditation Statement 

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Neuromodulation Society. The Congress of Neurological Surgeons is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

AMA Credit Designation Statement

The Congress of Neurological Surgeons designates this live activity for a maximum of 24.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

  • Registered attendees for pre-conference courses may earn a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for eligible pre-conference courses.  Please note, not all pre-meeting courses have the same credit total or are CME eligible.
  • Participants are eligible to earn a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for general sessions occurring from Friday, January 13 - Sunday, January 15.  

To claim credit and complete session evaluations:

  • Go to the NANS Credit Claim System: https://NANS.planion.com/Z?24WWW9503  where you will be prompted to login into your NANS account. If you do not remember your NANS login, then click on the “forgot login” or “forgot password” links to reset your account. 
    • This system allows you to complete the meeting evaluation and claim your CME or general credits for an attendance certificate. 
  • After you login to the system, you will need to indicate whether you are “CME Eligible”  or “CME Non-Eligible”. Based on the type of credit/certificate you need, please select the following:
    • CME Credits and CME Certificate- “CME Eligible”
    • General Credits and Attendance Certificate – “CME Non-Eligible”
  • Complete the session evaluations. 
    • Note: The “Overall Evaluation” is required to claim credit and get your certificate. 
    • Click the red “Evaluate” button next to the Overall Evaluation. 
    • After you complete the evaluation, a checkmark will appear indicating that your evaluation has been posted. 
    • The blue evaluate button next to each session is an optional evaluation form for that specific session.
  • Next, you will need to enter your credits. 
    • A box will appear for each session under the “CME” or “Attendance” column.
    • Hover your mouse over the box, and a small box will appear for you to select the number of credits commensurate with your participation in the session.
  • To access your certificate, click the “My Certificates” tab at the top of the page to obtain your certificate or log out and return to this site later.
